Last Night, Sunday the 13th, an SUV carrying 6 teenagers, on their way home from a local mall, overturned. Three girls were thrown from the vehicle. Two were killed, the other was airlifted to a local hospital and is still in intensive care. Of the remaining three teenagers, two were airlifted to a trauma center, the last is sedated and in progressive care.

This slams home for our family. One of the girls killed was very close to my daughter. The one in ICU is another of their close friends. She knew the other four from hanging out with them at the mall. I spent the evening just being there for my daughter and her friends' families.

This has been a day of tears and grief, prayers and candles.
