My vacation starts October 16.... the countdown has officially begun... counting tonight its 18 days away...I have 8 scheduled days to work with hopefully no call ins... then its 3 WEEKS OFF!!! I cant wait... 3 whole weeks of no call lights, no insane requests, not getting hit, pinched, yelled at, no talking to doctors and no charting...hehehee..did I say I cant wait??

I just added a ton of new pics to my website thegravesite.net they are in the Nebraska section and a few added to the Minnesota section. There are some pretty decent ones so check them out and let me know what you think. Theres a few that I actually like...lol...and whens the last time anyone heard me say that??? Also, if you have any ideas for the graveyard group here or anything you would like to see, let me know...

Well...we left at 7am and didnt get home until 7pm. We had a really good time but was a very frustrating day.... We headed 3 hours north and out of 200 pics there are 5 or 6 that I like....thats normal. But the sun this morning was so damn bright nothing helped, not my polarizing lens, changing the camera settings..nothing... Then it clouded up and rained for about half an hour, just enough to make things muddy. We found 2 abandoned churches that we could not get into. The one I could have punched in the plywood covering a window it was so rotten, but lots of traffic. Didnt wanna call hubby for bail money...lol... And finally the cemetery that we had planned the whole trip around....a trek through the woods...awesome location, but some damn kids had smashed every stone except one!! Unbelieveable..... so sad... what morons..... 
Well, we have been planning a photo trip for a month now and it has to be postponed! So ....hopefully the 25th will work out and we can go then.... sighs..... one thing after another this summer.... My oldest, who almost aways comes with me, fell at work last night and hurt her knee. She can barely walk and is seeing the doctor tomorrow. Since most of the places we go are out in the middle of no where and often involve some hiking, she cant go until the knee is better.....  ..... I am so disappointed, but she cant help it and I dont want her to make anything worse... We need a drinking smiley....I am headed to the frig for a beer or 6 or so....
